Meet Danielle Beerli

PhD, MSW, LMSW

Danielle Beerli is a licensed social worker, nonprofit founder and executive director, university professor, and children’s book author with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals and families through community-based work. She also works closely with college students, guiding and teaching with an emphasis on connection, growth, and applied learning. Through her leadership, she has built partnerships and developed programs that strengthen communities and create meaningful change.

With Doctorate in Strategic Leadership/Administrative Studies and Master’s in Social Work, Danielle has dedicated her career to understanding human relationships, emotional development, and the ways in which early experiences shape our lives. This professional foundation, combined with her natural ability to connect through storytelling, allows her to create children’s books that resonate with both young readers and the adults who share those moments with them.

Her debut children’s book, Forever, Papa Bear, is a deeply personal story inspired by her own memories of time spent with her father. While the story is rooted in those experiences, Danielle intentionally crafted it to be a warm and uplifting celebration of love, connection, and the everyday moments that often mean the most. The book highlights the beauty of presence, the comfort of shared experiences, and the lasting impact of a parent’s love.

Danielle’s writing is centered on the idea that life’s most meaningful moments are often the simplest, reading together, laughing, sitting side by side, or simply being there for one another. Through gentle, heartfelt storytelling, she aims to create books that families can return to again and again, building connections and creating their own lasting memories.

She believes that stories have the power to comfort, to connect, and to remind us of what truly matters. Through her work, Danielle hopes to offer children and families a sense of warmth, reassurance, and belonging, one story at a time.

Danielle lives in Connecticut with her husband and their two children.
